Sigr fun fact: Nejlika, or ‘Clove’ in English, is a flower that grows in the northern hemisphere, consisting of around 300 species of which six grow wild in Sweden. Nejlika prefers a sunny spot (don’t we all?) and has almost everything you could wish for in a flower – it’s super pretty, comes in many colours, grows year round and is very sustainable!
The Greeks and Romans used clove flowers in their victory wreaths and it symbolised love in mediaeval art. At Sigr we believe love conquers all!
